- Characters Introduction -

1. Airell Shou

She is Gin's adopted child and Eric's little sister. A very tomboy one. She's often seen at Gin's bar, helping Gin as a waitress. She is Princess Tokugawa Hana's best friend. She doesn't seem to have a good relationship with Kei, yet suddenly, they became very close.

2. Kei Arashi

He is the 1st Division Captain of Shinsengumi (a special police force under the control of the shogunate). He is recognized as the most talented swordsman in the Shinsengumi and takes pride in his job to lead the vanguard as to open a path for Shinsengumi. He is hands down a hardcore sadist. He is Shinsengumi's resident sadist. He is entirely lacking in empathy for his victims. He was nicknamed the 'Shinsengumi's Demon Captain' by people in Edo. He is a regular customer at Gin's bar and he met Ai there. He often fights with Ai, arguing with her about everything, yet later on, he finds himself obsessed and crazy about her. He will do anything to make Ai his.

3. Eric Shou

He is the most wanted killer inside and outside of Edo, but mostly in Edo. Shinsengumi is always after him, especially Kei. He is also Gin's adopted child, but hasn't lived in Gin's house since many years ago. He was leaving Gin's home because he wanted to strengthen his swordsmanship. He wants to be stronger. He is Ai's only sibling; he is Ai's older brother. Just like Kei, he is a hardcore sadist and a monster that will kill you while smiling. He loves to make you suffer. He is also entirely lacking in empathy for his victims. He is crazy in love with his own little sister, Ai.

4. Gin Shuuji

He is a former samurai that now owns a bar in Edo. He has two adopted child, Eric and Ai. He met Eric and Ai a long time ago, when both of them were still children. He's often seen as a calm adult, a man with full control of his anger. But don't touch whatever that is precious to him, or else you will be erased. 

5. Shin Arata

He is an employee at Gin's bar. He is a normal and good person. His patience and friendliness are top notch. He genuinely cares about Ai, Eric, and Gin, as if they are his family. He has an older sister named Katsumi Arata.

6. Jun Kazuya

He is Shinsengumi's Vice-Commander. He is often giving advice to Kei, but Kei never listened to him.

7. Katsumi Arata

She is Shin's older sister. She appears at Chapter 20. She will also help Ai (with Gin and Shin) during the war between Kei and Eric.

8. Fudo Osuke

He is the commander of Shinsengumi. He will help Kei along with Jun to fight Eric's forces during the war between Kei and Eric.

9. Tokugawa Hana (Princess Tokugawa Hana)

She is Shogun Tokugawa's little sister and Ai's best friend. Ai loves her and she loves Ai too. She always supports Ai. As a princess, Shinsengumi always protects her and Ai once felt jealous because of this.

10. Atsushi "Sushi"

He and Eric are often be partnered in their 'job', but he often feels that Eric just takes advantage of him and makes him his slave during the mission. But even after all the things that happened, he still joins as one of Eric's forces, a leading force, to fight against Shinsengumi.

11. Seichii Ryu

He is Shinsengumi's spy. He will be mentioned a lot. He will be widely used by Shinsengumi in various missions to help their movement.
